The App Collective Episode 68
This morning was a full Strawberry Moon. Well, not technically when I’m writing this, but by the time you read it, the peak of it will have passed.
🍓 Fun Facts about the Strawberry Full Moon
It’s not named for its color.
Despite the name, the Strawberry Moon doesn’t look pink or red. The name comes from Algonquin and other Native American tribes who used it to mark the short strawberry harvesting season in June. It’s the last full moon of spring — or the first of summer.
Depending on the calendar, the Strawberry Moon is either the grand finale of spring or the opener of summer vibes. It can appear lower and larger.
Because it rises closer to the horizon, the Strawberry Moon often looks bigger and more golden — a perfect photo op (and great metaphor for growth and abundance). It’s a signal to reset.
Many cultures view June’s full moon as a time to pause, reflect, and reset intentions before the second half of the year — a natural “mid-year check-in.”It’s great for moon rituals and goal setting.
Ancient lunar calendars often aligned full moons with planting and planning. The Strawberry Moon is ideal for creativity, clarity, and visioning what’s next.

So, in the spirit of that, this episode will largely focus on goal setting, reflecting, pausing, and reflection.
